Year 6 Step Back in Time with Roman Workshop

We began our first week back with an exciting Roman Workshop for our Year 6 pupils. Throughout the day, children took part in a range of practical, hands-on activities designed to bring their history learning to life.

The workshop included mosaic making, perfume creation, designing clay charms, and playing Roman-style games, giving pupils the opportunity to explore different aspects of Roman life and culture. The variety of activities encouraged creativity, problem-solving and collaboration.

All pupils were fully engaged throughout the day, showing fantastic curiosity, imagination and teamwork. It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm as they immersed themselves in the experiences and made meaningful links to their learning.

The Roman Workshop provided a memorable start to the term and an excellent foundation for our Year 6 history topic.
