“I find the feedback sheets helpful for assessing gaps in the children’s learning and for influencing future planning and addressing misconceptions – so much easier than trawling through a whole class of books and marking!”
“I was extremely well supported with the new systems in school that I hadn’t come across before. All staff are understanding, welcoming and I was never made to feel like I was causing them any hassle – despite sometimes appearing at a classroom door numerous times!”
“The CPD opportunities have been fantastic, I have attended various in house and outside courses to support my ongoing progression and have also been encouraged to complete a much larger course (NASENCO) to progress my career.”
“I enjoy working at Shackleton Primary School. I have always felt welcomed and as part of a team. I find the SLT team approachable which really makes a difference in a school. I also value the opportunities that are available to me, the fact that we are encouraged to find/attend CPD. This has really helped to enhance my practice as a classroom teacher, but also as a new subject lead.”
