Shackleton pupils show confidence at Speech and Drama Festival

Pupils from Shackleton Primary School recently took part in the Bedfordshire Festival of Music, Speech & Drama, showcasing their confidence and commitment through performance.

Children performed a selection of challenging musical pieces, which required focus, practice and determination to learn. Performing in an unfamiliar environment in front of an audience was a fantastic achievement in itself.

Headteacher Dr Andie BenBrahim said:
“It takes courage and determination to perform to an audience in an unfamiliar location, and the children have been practicing hard on learning the words to some challenging pieces of music.”

The experience provided a valuable opportunity for pupils to develop their confidence and enjoy performing as part of a wider festival.
