Shackleton Primary School
At Shackleton we have 6 Golden Rules, they are:
Shackleton Primary School was founded in 1928! It was an infant and junior school before becoming a lower school in 1974/1975. More recently becoming a Primary School in 2013.
We have 16 classrooms, a library, a computer suite and numerous reading areas. We have two halls, two playgrounds and a large playing field with a tyre park and trim trail activity obstacle course. We have also had extensive buiding work to make 10 new classrooms for our move to 3 form entry from September 2016.
All of our classrooms have been upgraded and now boast fully interactive whiteboards and internet access.
We are continually improving our school to provide the best learning environment for the children.
At Shackleton Primary School we seek to ensure that all our pupils receive a
full- time education which gives the best possible opportunities for each pupil
to realise their true potential.
We strive to provide a welcoming, caring environment, in which each member
of the school community feels valued and secure.
All our staff will work with pupils and their families to ensure each pupil attends school regularly and on time.
